We are committed to taking care of all the details involved in serving the veteran in your life. The Veteran’s Cremation Package provides a dignified tribute to those who have served our country.  It includes everything in Cremation Package #1 as well as:

  • Complete applications for all veterans’ benefits, including Military Honors, Presidential Memorial Certificate and veteran’s memorial marker or headstone
  • Coordinate graveside services at a Veteran’s cemetery
  • Request military honors, including flag folding detail and Taps, conducted by military personnel, if desired.  
  • Obtain a commemorative US Flag and vinyl Flag Case
  • Coordinate application for burial or cremation allowance and burial plot allowance if not using a national cemetery.  Coordinate with national or state veterans’ cemeteries, including the Winchendon Veterans Cemetery.  (For an application or for more information about the MA Veterans Cemetery in Winchendon, call 978-297-9501.)
  • Bronzed urn with insignia for branch of service

To be eligible for a Veteran’s Cremation, the deceased must have been a veteran with a certified copy of the original DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty).
